In keeping with objectives of the of the trust to provide opportunities for continuing education from  nursery to Graduation, pre-university college was started in the year 2002-2003.

The mission also emphasizes a humane approach based on dedication and commitment. it is our endeavor to develop a culture characterized by personal growth, integrity and ethics in business.

VISION

The institution is open to all students irrespective of caste, creed, and colour.the aim is to nurture young saplings in to healthy fragrant blossoms, to enable the toddlers who join to SKT fraternity to grow in to balanced, compassionate humane individual who have the strength of character to overcome social, communal and provisional prejudices. The aim is to strive for excellence in every field; not only to achieve perfection but also to maintain it. The school aims at imparting an education that will enable the students to meet the future challenges boldly and not submit in the face of adversities.

The scope

This is a 2-year,full time courses recognized by the government of Karnataka and the department of pre-university Education. The course is designed to provide a basic knowledge and fundamental principles of science, commerce and arts, as a foundation for future streams. The college offers 6 subjects, with the following options:

Part I---languages

1. English
2. Kannada

Part II: Optional (any one of the following combinations):

I. science
1. Physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology
2. Physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science

II .Business studies (commerce)
1. History, Economics, Businesses studies, Accountancy
2. computer science, Economics, Businesses studies, Accountancy

III.Arts
1. History, Economics, political science & sociology

The Eligibility criteria

Should have cleared S.S.L.C or equivalent examination

Admission procedure

Entrance to this course is decided on merit and personal interviews.

Rules of Admission and withdrawals

1. Application for Admission must be made in the prescribed form available in the Office.
2. The duly filled up application form should be submitted to the office either in person or by post on or before the Specified date.

3. Selected students must meet the members of the admission committee with the following documents.

• T.C from the school/college attended
• S.S.L.C/P.U.C Marks card
• Conduct/character certificate issued by School last studied
• Migration and eligibility certificate in case of students from out side the state & university.
• Caste certificate(only for those belong in

4. Request for withdrawal from particular courses/combination should be followed by an application submitted to the principal by the concerned student; such requests will be consider only if rules permit.

5. Parents/guardians must accompany their wards at the time of admission. All admissions are subjected to the approval by the Department of pre-university Education.

• Fees etc, paid on admission will on no account be refunded
• Only Xerox copies or attested true copies must be submitted only at the time of admissions.
